How we work: no surprises on the day
Most complaints in this trade come from the same three things: a price that moves, a method that damages the surface, and a mess left behind. Here is how each one is dealt with.
Call or send the form. Tell us roughly what you have and where you are. Photos from your phone help enormously and often mean we can price it without a visit.
A fixed price for the work described, in writing, with what is included spelled out. No day rates that creep and no surprises when we turn up.
We bring our own water and power. Borders and planting get wetted down and covered, cars move, and we agree where the run-off is going before a machine starts.
Method matched to the surface. You are welcome to watch, and you will be told straight away if we find something you should know about — a cracked slab, a failed joint, a loose bracket.
Joints re-sanded, everything rinsed down and swept, kit away. We walk it with you before we leave rather than sending a text from the van.
Pressure is a tool, not a setting
The single biggest difference between a good exterior clean and an expensive repair is knowing when not to turn the machine up.
Roofs are soft washed
STEP 01Low pressure and a biocide treatment. High pressure strips the granules off concrete tiles and drives water under the laps.
Block paving gets a rotary head
STEP 02An even distance across the whole area, so you do not get lance stripes across your drive.
Sandstone and old brick get less
STEP 03Both are soft and both will pit if hit too hard from too close.
Joints get re-sanded
STEP 04Taking the sand out and not putting it back is what causes the next problem.
Gutters are cleared from the ground
STEP 05Vacuum pole and camera. No ladder against your fascia.
What you get either way
Based in Great Yarmouth. We know what salt air and a Norfolk winter do to a driveway because we live with it too.
You get a number before we start and that is the number you pay. No hourly creep, no invented extras.
We arrive self-sufficient. Nothing plugged into your house and nothing run off your outside tap.
Soft wash where soft wash belongs. High pressure only where the surface can take it. Damage is not part of the service.
